spicy...
I love how much cheaper dried beans are, but I'm hopeless when it comes to remembering to put them out to soak beforehand. Winter weekends are perfect for letting a pot simmer on the stove for a few hours, keeping the place warm and smelling delicious. I like this Chicken & Black Bean Tortilla soup all year round, but it's at it's best when it's super-hot out or (like tonight) super-cold.
