last night in Oz, redux...
After our two-week trip to Australia to visit family, we thought we were going home today. The airline had other plans for us, though. So after a quick flight from Melbourne to Sydney, and two hour delay for our next flight, they told us they were cancelling our plans for us, and for us to proceed to the cattle-holding facility. Two more hours later, we had gathered our luggage, been loaded on coaches, and dropped off at a nice hotel to soak our feet and avail ourselves of the amenities until morning. So we took advantage of the bar and room-service and had a somewhat relaxing night with masala lamb burgers and The Simpson's Movie.

Until we found a surprise guest...

Luckily, out of all the dangerous Australian arachnids, we managed to have a pretty harmless one as a roommate for the night. But he did spend the night under that glass...
